We’ve patched the game to fix some of the issues that have been found in the Crackdown Update. These include:
- Players now directly go into the arena instead of the locker room when initiating a friendly duel in the Ozo Lounge, unless an issue occurs when connecting to a match. (Please send a report with a description through settings if you don’t manage to connect to a game from Ozo.)
- Minor improvements to prevent “Incident Occurred” when initiating friendly duels from the Ozo Lounge.
- Improved performance in the new arena: Scrapper’s Market.
- Fixed collision with the shield’s and weapons like the FrostByte.
- Improved impact effects on hit position.
- Changing seats in Spectator and Replays are now bound to the press of the analog stick.
- Fixed the ‘Headless’ bug in Ozo, replays and when using LIV.
- Improvements to the controller offset settings.
- Fixed the avatar in LIV not displaying properly.
- Fixed black screen in cutscenes while using LIV.
We’re aware of some bugs involving sounds in replays and other areas of the game. If you encounter one of these bugs please send a detailed report via the report bugs section in settings.
One other note from the devs: we do not process bug reports without proper descriptions, as we do not know what to look for in the report. Please be descriptive when you report a bug so we can hone in on the issue!
Patch
Blaston was again updated with a small patch on August 12th, 2021. The patch notes can be found below:
In this patch we’ve added support for the new Oculus Social and Multiplayer Features to Blaston and includes new features: destinations, rich presence and deep linking. This means that players will now be able to make an Oculus party using the Oculus mobile app or dashboard then invite or join each other in Friendly Duels the Ozo Lounge! We’re hoping that this will make it easier for players on the Oculus platform to be able to play with your friends, and be able to get into the game faster than before.
New Oculus Features:
- Added 2 multiplayer Oculus Destinations to the game - Friendly Duel and Ozo Lounge
- Added the ability to travel to a Destination and join together from an Oculus party
- Added the ability to join a player already at a specific Destination
- Players can now automatically display their current VR destination on their nameplates in the Oculus social channel.
- While in the Ozo Lounge, Oculus users can now invite their friends through the wrist menu.
Bug fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the LIV avatar was not showing correctly in certain special conditions on SteamVR.
- Fixed the Super Alien Blast arcade game music sometimes not playing in the Ozo bar
